Ordering an image
If you are interested in using any of the images you have seen on this website you can use the form below to email me, the image details and how you want to use it, I'll then reply with a price (price is dependent on a number of factors including size used and print run for publications). All images are sent via email or provided on a CD or DVD. Photos on CD or DVD can be sent to you as a JPEG or a TIFF (some images are only available in JPEG). Just get in contact with me and let me know what image or images you require. Conservation organisations and registered charities will qualify for reduced rates.
Photographs can be paid for by PayPal, bank transfer or cheque. Payments made through Paypal can be made using the email address email@example.com
With commissions, assignments, written articles, photo features, etc, the ordering process is usually conducted entirely by written or verbal agreement.
Guidance on prices
Below is information regarding starting costs to commercially publish images, licenses for which are granted in accordance with usage. The fee or fees for the use of an image or images are negotiable.
|Websites - commercial sites||£25+, depending on size used and business sector|
|Websites - non-profit sites||These have reduced rates from commercial sites|
|Posters, flyers, leaflets, artwork, etc||£25-£250: This is priced by use and number produced.|
|Local||£20 any size, £40 front cover|
|Conservation organisations or registered charities||£15 any size|
It is strictly forbidden to reproduce these photographs in any publication, to transmit electronically or otherwise, or to incorporate them in another website, without the express permission of the copyright owner. To negotiate reproduction rights please contact David Plant.
Infringement of copyright or any unauthorized use of images from the website will be viewed seriously. David Plant Photography will inform Google under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act which may result in closure of your site.

The copyright of all images, however purchased, remain with the photographer.
